When switch port LED light close, don’t close switch ,open the switch gui,check “Monitoring->Logs”.
If you get this message:
Interface XGigabitEthernet9 has been shutdown by DOS type “XXXXX” attack notification.Go to “System->Management->Dos”,close auto dos and set dos configuration correct.
After this,restart switch.
